How long does the procedure take?

Is special preparation needed?
Usually not. If the wart is on the sole or is very painful, the doctor may recommend softening the area before the procedure (for example, with warm baths).
How many visits may be needed?
- Most warts are removed in 1 visit.
- However, deeper ones (especially plantar warts) sometimes require 2–3 procedures.

Healing after the procedure
- Healing takes 5–14 days.
- A scab may form—do not touch or pick it.
- You may exercise, but avoid friction.
